Peggy Farren is an award winning, professional photographer, author, instructor and speaker.

She started out as a frustrated wannabe photographer, struggling with the technical side of photography. With people like her in mind, Peggy began offering photography training and tours over 10 years ago through her training center “Understand Photography”.
Peggy wanted to fill that void of the lack of photography courses for the nontechnical brain!

Understand Photography offers training for beginning to advanced photographers, portrait to nature photographers. Peggy has a way of simplifying the technical side of photography so that both her online and hands-on classes are in high demand.

Peggy is the host of The Understand Photography Show which features prominent travel, fine art and nature photographers. The show broadcasts on Facebook, Youtube and as a Podcast at 4 pm ET every Friday. She’s been interviewed and featured on TV and in many national and local publications.
