Do you want to take pictures low to the ground or from unusual angles, but just need that camera very steady? We’re going to show you how.
I was a speaker at a convention one summer and this nice company gave me this device. It’s a Platypod.
The Platypod is essentially a pocket size tripod that can be used with almost any ballhead to hold your camera. This sturdy plate has a variety of features and can be used almost anywhere!
In the kit, I have the Platypod, a pouch with 4 screws, and a belt strap.
It can be placed really low to the ground and can be put onto many different surfaces. You may be asking, what if it isn’t steady? Well, luckily the Platypod comes with 4 removable feet that screw onto the metal plate so that you can customize the position of the Platypod for nice sturdy shots. You can also use these screws as stakes to secure it to the ground.
Overall, this device is a great tool to have handy and is especially great when you are traveling since it is so lightweight and pocket-sized.
