How can I change the shutter speed on my Canon 6D?

There are a couple ways, but really there’s one way: there is a dial on the top to change your shutter speed. Or, if you’re looking through the viewfinder at the same time, you will see the shutter speed changing. If you’re in live view mode, you can see the shutter speed changing as well.

And then lastly, if you hit your Q button, and for beginners sometimes this is the way to remember, hit the Q button, move over using the multi-selector to your shutter, and then again it’s the top dial. That’s gonna change your shutter speed. I highly recommend just changing the shutter speed by the dial while looking through the viewfinder.
