bring your camera and manual
Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Pentax DSLR cameras
$45 early registration through October 28
$60 regular price October 28-Nov 6
This is our most popular workshop! This class is why our group has grown so much. It’s such a great place to start!
If you want to learn the basic technical info in an easy to understand, hands on class, this is for you. Come to this workshop to learn about basic settings for shooting in manual mode, Fstops, camera lens basics, etc. It’s not going to be super technical but you’ll learn enough to get out of automatic mode and feel comfortable controlling your camera.
Most people don’t need a four to six week class to understand the basics. Take this class and start taking pictures in manual setting with a perfect exposure right away!
This will be in a classroom type setting. Bring your camera so you’ll be able to practice what we are learning. We’ll keep it small so each participant can get a little individual help. Since every camera is different, bring your manual.
PLEASE FULLY CHARGE YOUR BATTERY!
Reservations required. See you there!
Instructor: Peggy Farren of Avant-Garde Images, Inc.
PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE A DSLR CAMERA BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS WORKSHOP!
1. If your lens does not come off, you do not have a DSLR.
2. If you are unsure, please email Peggy at [email protected] with your make and model number and she can verify.
DSLR cameras pretty much all work the same and therefore we can offer a group workshop. Bridge or Point and Shoot cameras are all very different, and therefore we can’t teach them in a group setting. Some bridge are similar to DSLRs so please inquire if you have one.
We offer private lessons for point and shoot or bridge users. Please email us at [email protected] for more info or read about them here: http://understandphotography.com/step-by-step-training/private-lessons/
