Who doesn’t love the movies? With this hands-on class, become a part of the movie world by creating your very own Hollywood style Movie Poster!

Instructor Greg Agee will teach you about the elements that make up and influence the “look” of a movie poster, such as movie titles, coloring and element composition.

The class will begin with a “Action Adventure” themed photo shoot which will provide you with your movie character and overall look. How you choose to pose your model, (smiling or scowling, standing or jumping) during the photo shoot will help you define the mood of your movie poster and give you the elements needed to create your one-of-a-kind movie poster.

Greg will also provide all the image elements needed to create your genre of movie poster. Atmospheric elements like smoke and fog, backgrounds, movie titles and movies credits will all be provided to help you create your award winning Hollywood style movie poster!

Bring your camera, your laptop and your favorite copy of Photoshop or Elements and we’ll see you on the Red Carpet!!

Photo Shoot (10am-12pm)

The photo shoot will be based on a Science Fiction theme. Students will be instructed to pose and shoot the model according to their choice of genre for their movie poster.

Students will be provided all the extra images and elements that will help to create their movie poster.

Lunch (12pm-1pm)

Create Poster (1pm-4pm)
