Worldwide Photowalk – Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
October 6 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 amFree
Peggy Farren is again leading the Worldwide Photowalk in Naples, sponsored by Scott Kelby. Photographers from all over the world meet on this day for photowalks and share their images on the Worldwide Photowalk website: http://worldwidephotowalk.com/ Scott Kelby began this trend eleven years ago and now there are photowalks hosted in almost every continent and country in the world! You’ll be part of something big!
This year there are two types of contests: a photo contest and a video contest. Walkers can enter the walker photo contest and/or the video contest. Details are on the Worldwide Photowalk website.
Join Understand Photography for a fun photowalk through this beautiful Audubon sanctuary. This is the time of year when the Florida sunflowers bloom, so hopefully we will see vast fields of the small, yet tall, yellow flower. From the boardwalk, we should be tall enough to get some nice landscape images, however, if you have a SMALL foldable stool, that might help.
Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is also known for its wildlife. We’ll stay on the boardwalk so there are places to put your gear down if you’d like to carry a long lens, a landscape lens and a macro. There is just so much to photograph!
All levels of photographers will enjoy this, from professionals to cell phone photographers! Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is an amazing place!
After the photowalk, we’ll head over to L’Appetito II Pizza & Deli for lunch (optional and Dutch treat).
We at Understand Photography don’t charge for this photowalk, but there is an admission to Corkscrew.
Admission to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is as follows:
Adult: $ 14.00
Full-time college student with photo ID: $ 6.00
