On this trip you will have a variety of subjects to photography at two great locations. The morning will find us at Wakodahatchee Wetlands. The wetlands are a 50 acre preserve with a ¾ mile boardwalk. You will be able to photograph Wood Storks, Anhingas, and Cormorants in various stages of nest building, incubating eggs, and feeding their young. Alligators, moorhens, gallinules, and iguanas are amongst the other wildlife that is also commonly seen in the wetlands.
We will take a mid day break for lunch. Lunch is not included so pack you own or join Joe at Ruven’s Deli. After lunch we will journey to Butterfly World, the largest park of its kind in the world. Far more than just butterflies, you will photograph hummingbirds, macaws, lorikeets, and other exotic birds.
At each location Joe will share his techniques, enabling you to overcome exposure, lighting and compositional challenges. With his guidance you will learn to control the complex features of your camera. Joe’s easy to understand style of instruction will help you to become the photographer you long to be. This trip is limited to five participants so that everyone will receive personal attention.
We’ll arrive back to Naples around 6 pm. Please note that time is approximate and depends on traffic.
