From their website: “The Bird Gardens of Naples is a nonprofit organization whose sole concern is parrot welfare in captivity and conservation of wild parrots. We are an outreach and placement program which places into safe custody, parrots which are abandoned, abused, or in need of a home for any reason.”

Bird Gardens of Naples is not a great spot for photography unless you need some close-ups of parrots. Parrots are all in cages. You’ll get a guided tour and be allowed to go inside one of the cages with many different types of parrots. It’s a wonderful charity so please be sure to give a good donation if you go. It’s right on the road to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary; so it might be a great place to stop on your way there.
