Ave Maria, Florida is a small university town founded in 2005 by a partnership between the Barron Collier Companies and Tom Monaghan, founder of Domino’s Pizza.
The town centers around a huge oratory, which is fascinating to photograph. You may be able to get permission for a portrait shoot at Collier Family Farms, which is a working farm with colorful buildings and farm equipment. There are also numerous beautiful parks within the small community of Ave Maria for portrait shoots.
Nature photographers will love Orange Jeep Tours. Barron Collier Companies owns most of the wilderness around Ave Maria and Orange Jeep Tours is the only way to experience it. Tour guide Mike Sullivan is an avid photographer and will take you to the best spots. http://www.orangejeeptours.com 239-434-JEEP (5337)
