Lucky for me, Joe Fitzpatrick is not only a genius when it comes to photography, he’s also pretty handy! We decided we’d like a brick wall as the background with modern furniture. I found a couple of white leather and chrome chairs and Joe got to work planning and building the set.
Since we use the studio as a classroom, a photography studio (available for rent by the way) and more, Joe brilliantly put together a foldable set on wheels.
Joe was resourceful enough to think of making a time-lapse video of him building the set and then of us putting the set out on show day. It’s a fun video. I hope you enjoy it!
By the way, live 100th episode was a bit frustrating with lots of technical problems. That’s life with a live show! But we’ve had many views on Youtube and downloads of the podcast. If you missed it, you can see the show notes and links here: https://www.understandphotography.com/advanced-sharpness-techniques-for-photography-with-artie-morris/
Artie Morris is one of the most, if not the most, famous bird photographer in the world for a reason. He’s so smart, so knowledgeable and a really good instructor. He teaches quite a bit in this episode and has some unique ideas for creating super sharp images.
In the Understand Photography Show, we talk about travel, nature and fine art photography. It’s an interview style show, with teaching elements throughout. It airs live on our Facebook page every Friday at 4 pm EDT, then is uploaded to our Youtube Channel and as a podcast.
Our motto at Understand Photography is “We Simplify the Technical”. If you like things explained to you in a simple, step by step way, you’ll love us at Understand Photography!
