Photography is “in” right now. Digital took the fear and a bit of the expense out of taking pictures. Facebook allowed everyone to show off their pictures and friends said “You should be a professional!”.
Maybe you should!!!
Even if you are considering going pro as a part-time or full-time photographer, getting involved with professional photographers is the best thing you can do. Our local guild brings in some of the best photographers in Florida to teach. Even if you are not ready to compete, listening to the judges critique others’ pictures will help you grow. Networking with experienced pros will help you make better business decisions and make more money for less effort.

Our local guild is full of super friendly photographers who all want to grow and help each other. Just a side note: Networking with other pros can come in handy if you are sick and can’t make a job, if you need to rent equipment on short notice and also can be a source of referrals. Be sure to be a friendly person yourself!!!
